Usermaven pricing: Growth is $84, Scale is $199 — and the plan gates matter.

We checked Usermaven's pricing inside a live trial workspace and compared it with the current vendor pricing page. At 250K events per month, Growth was $84/month and Scale was $199/month. The bigger decision is not the $115 price gap — it is which analyses and client-facing workflows are locked behind Scale.

The important price difference is retention and attribution

In our test, Growth already covered enough to run useful product and website analysis. We built a live funnel without SQL and saw normal web analytics populate automatically. That makes Growth a legitimate product rather than a crippled entry tier.

Scale is where the buying decision changes. Dedicated retention analysis, paid/channel/content attribution, CRM and deal attribution, conversion-path analysis, additional workspaces, unlimited users, and Maven AI sit in the higher plan. If those capabilities are central to your weekly workflow, comparing $84 with $199 is more useful than comparing feature counts.

White label adds $49/month — and changes the agency economics

Usermaven's current pricing presents white labeling as a separate add-on starting at $49/month, priced by workspace count. In our trial billing screen, the $49 option covered up to five workspaces and included custom branding, a custom domain, removal of Usermaven branding, and white-labeled emails.

At the 250K-event Scale price we observed, Scale plus the $49 white-label option is $248/month. If all five client workspaces are active, the simple software allocation is about $49.60 per workspace per month before support, implementation, other software, or higher event volume.

That is why we think white labeling is strategically more interesting than it first appears: an agency can price its service around analysis, reporting, and optimization instead of giving clients a raw third-party software login. Usermaven explicitly says the add-on is for branded client analytics, not for claiming the underlying software as technology your agency built.

Why you may still see “$49/month” on some Usermaven pages

During this pricing check we found some Usermaven solution pages that still described the product as $49/month or “everything you need” at $49/month. That does not match the current pricing page, current billing documentation, or the Plan & Billing screen in our trial.

For a purchase decision, we would treat the live pricing page and authenticated billing screen as the source of truth: Growth starts at $84/month and Scale at $199/month at the 250K-event level, while $49/month currently appears as the starting price for the white-label add-on. Check the live pricing page again before subscribing because SaaS pricing can change.

There is also a $499 guided setup option

Usermaven currently lists a one-time $499 guided setup and tracking plan. The vendor describes it as help with the business model, journey, tracking plan, event structure, implementation guidance, validation, dashboards, and maintenance advice. It is guidance rather than a service that writes and deploys your code.

Our own retention test explains why this add-on can make sense for some teams. The UI removed SQL work, but it did not remove the conceptual work of defining what “retained” should mean. A team without analytics design experience may save more time by paying for the tracking plan than by debugging a weak event model after launch.

Which plan would we choose?

Choose Growth if…

You are a small product/marketing team that mainly needs website and product analytics, funnels, journeys, trends, segments, and dashboards — and three users/workspaces are enough.

Choose Scale if…

Attribution, CRM revenue, retention, client workspaces, ad-network analysis, Maven AI, or unlimited team access are part of the reason you are buying Usermaven.

Do not upgrade yet if…

You cannot define the events, funnels, retention rule, or business question you expect the tool to answer. The higher tier adds capability; it does not invent the analytics model for you.

What happens after the free trial?

Usermaven advertises a 14-day free trial with no credit card required. Its current pricing FAQ says that after the trial ends without an upgrade, you cannot access new dashboard data until you choose a paid plan and add a payment method. Tracking can continue until the trial event limit is reached; if you later upgrade, Usermaven says you regain access to the dashboard and the data collected during that period.

That makes the trial useful for a genuine implementation test: install tracking early, build the exact funnel, retention, or attribution workflow you expect to use, and decide on the plan only after you see which feature gates you hit.

Our pricing verdict

Usermaven is not a $49 all-in-one analytics product at the current pricing we verified. The realistic entry point is $84/month for Growth, and the more distinctive attribution/retention/ agency value is concentrated in Scale at $199/month before add-ons.

That can still be reasonable value for a small B2B SaaS team or agency if it replaces several analytics/reporting jobs and the advanced features are used. If you only need lightweight web analytics, Usermaven is likely more product — and more spend — than necessary.

Our recommendation is to treat the 14-day trial as a plan-selection test.
